Clarke 'blameless' in Odemwingie saga

West Bromwich Albion manager, Steve Clarke says he’s not involved in any discussion regarding striker, Peter Odemwingie over a possible transfer away from the club.
The 32-year-old Nigerian forward has been in limbo since unsuccessfully trying to force a move away from the club in January.
With a potential move to UAE club, Al Nasr falling through over perceived differences between Odemwingie and WBA, Clarke has now absolved himself of any blame on the situation.
"I've asked the club to deal with the situation. It’s between the club and Peter (Odemwingie). They have to resolve the issue not me," Clarke said to Sky Sports News Radio.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Barclays English Premier League club, Cardiff City have resurrected their interest in the Nigerian attacker.
Authoritative British newspaper, Daily Mail says Odemwingie's proposed move to Al Nasr is reportedly off, with the Dubai side pulling out of the deal after growing frustrated with Albion's reluctance to meet despite two bids being submitted for the striker.
Cardiff manager, Malky Mackay wants two wingers and has already lined up a £3 million (N756 million) deal for Ecuador winger, Jefferson Montero from Morelia in Mexico.
